Martin Financial Solutions
For Katie Martin, a financial advisor’s most important skills are listening and caring for others. Since 1999, Katie has been using those skills to guide clients in making sound financial decisions that affect their lives and their families. Katie’s goal is to help reduce the stress surrounding financial decisions for each of her clients:
“I realize that my clients’ financial concerns are of the utmost importance to them, and I address their needs with the same care and attention I would give to my own. By nature, I am a listener and a nurturer, so I make it a priority to reassure my clients that I hear, understand, and share their concerns, and that I will take all the appropriate steps to get the job done.”
Katie’s years of experience in establishing Traditional IRA’s, ROTH IRA’s and 529 College Savings Plans, as well as handling 401(k) rollovers, with a focus on Retirement Income Planning have enabled her to build long-term relationships with her clients:
“As Financial Advisor, I help my clients oversee their family’s financial affairs, and provide advice for people who want to protect and grow their money. With a focus on Retirement Income Planning and creating strategies for filling the Social Security ‘income gap”, I help people take control of their finances so that they can retire with confidence. Identifying goals, and setting priorities for long-term goals, helps my clients to avoid the pitfalls of short-term thinking.”
Katie is an Investment Advisor Representative and holds Series 6 and 63 registrations as well as a life insurance license. These enable her to offer Advisory Accounts, Mutual Funds and Brokerage Accounts, Variable Annuities, Fixed and Index Annuities, and Life Insurance to her clients.
A native of Southwestern Pennsylvania, Katie is a member of the Women’s Business Network – South Hills Chapter, Women-In-The-Network, and the Financial Services Institute. As a life-long member of the Presbyterian Church, Katie has served in many capacities including Youth Ministry Leadership, Sunday School Teacher, Vacation Bible School Director, Mission Team member, and Treasurer of the Board of Deacons.
Katie and her husband Jim are the parents of three adult children. In December, 2019, they welcomed their first grandchild, and are very excited to be embarking on this new journey as Grandparents!
